Google reportedly has been using artificial intelligence to drive search

Regardless of the many projects Google has explored over the years, the company has always been centered around its first: Search. Through the successes of Chrome and Android to the failures of Wave and Buzz, search remained at the middle of it all. In fact, ads through Google’s network – which are mostly served up on search – accounted for $16.8 billion or almost 90 percent of its revenue this past quarter. Now, though, the company is reportedly handing at least partial control of its crown jewel to an artificial intelligence-based program, according to an article from Bloomberg.
