The web giant said TensorFlow can run on many devices, ranging from a single smartphone to an entire data centre. The ability for artificial intelligent systems to essentially teach themselves what they need to know by sifting through more data than we can possibly imagine will create programs with an nearly limitless potential. Google’s existing machine-learning infrastructure, known as DistBelief, has hitherto been used internally at Google, for example to identify and automatically label items contained with YouTube videos and photos, as well as improve speech recognition in Google apps.
