Google Acquires Paris-Based Image Recognition Technology

Google has just got a new machine learning startup on board called the Moodstocks. The Paris-based firm is known for its image-recognition technology and is acquired for an undisclosed amount by the search giant, reported the Verge. Machine learning has evolved beyond our imagination in the recent years and Moodstocks image-recognition initiative is an excellent example of this claim. The technology developed by this startup is like a dictionary for images, all that users need to do is put an object/image in front of camera sensor and the program based on this technology will bring up the description of the objects.
