GondaThon – the First Neuroscience Student Hackathon

GondaThon, the first neuroscience oriented student hackathon, will take place October 13-14 at Bar Ilan University. There is still opportunity for mentors to take part in the event. An interview with organizer Adam Yaari. The brain is of interest not only to neuroscientists.   Students from almost every discipline, from mathematics to history, and, perhaps most relevant, computer science, can contribute greatly to our understanding of the human brain.  This idea is the driving force behind the GondaThon, the first student hackathon event to focus entirely on neuroscience.  The event is hosted by the Gonda Multidisciplinary Brain Research Center at Bar-Ilan University, and is in partnership with Israel Brain Technologies (IBT).
