Faculty Positions in Affective Neuroscience-Texas A&M University

As part of an ongoing effort to enhance the strength of an interdisciplinary research initiative in affective science, the Department of Psychology (http://psychology.tamu.edu) at Texas A&M University invites applications for an open-rank tenure-track faculty position with research interests in affective neuroscience, broadly construed, to begin Fall 2017.  This position will complement and bolster a world-class core of researchers focused on understanding the psychological and neural processes underlying emotion and its regulation.  In this search cycle, priority will be given to affective scientists studying dispositional or situational moderators of emotion, including culture, ethnicity, gender, status, and/or personality traits.  The successful candidate will contribute to one or more existing graduate programs.  The University has created a state of the art research facility to support fMRI and PET, and an interdisciplinary neuroscience program…
