Faculty Positions: Anatomy, Biochemistry/Genetics, Neuroscience, and Physiology

To improve health care delivery in the Mississippi Delta region, New York Institute of Technology-College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYIT-COM) is opening a new medical school site at the Arkansas State University campus in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Basic science faculty positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level will be recruited to the Department of Biomedical Sciences Arkansas site to meet teaching needs. The area of research focus is open. NYIT-COM currently has active research in cardiovascular disease/heart failure, cancer biology, renal physiology and development, neuroscience, microbiology, and paleontology. Successful candidates are expected to contribute to the medical school teaching effort and participate in an active research program.
