Internet users of the future are likely to have “virtual personal assistants” to help manage their affairs in cyberspace day and night, British media agency PHD believes. New Zealand already boasts a software company that hopes to bring about that vision. MyWave, founded by corporate high-flier Geraldine McBride, raised $4.5 million from investors in September for its “intelligent personal assistant” which it calls “Frank”.
