Drew Senior Earns National Grant For Neuroscience Research

June 2016 – Drew University senior Taylor Redmond will spend the summer studying a processing center of the brain at the Drew Summer Science Institute, thanks to a grant from the National Honor Society in Neuroscience. Inside the Hall of Sciences The grant—one of just four that the organization awards to undergraduate students each year—will fund Redmond’s research at DSSI—work that will culminate in her honors thesis next spring. Redmond, a Baldwin Honors Scholar who is majoring in neuroscience and minoring in psychology, is excited because “that funding gives me more freedom to do this research that I’m very passionate about.” Pursuing neurology Redmond is exploring a small structure…
