Data science and Archaeology at UC Berkeley Social Event | April 11 | 3-4 p.m. | 190 Doe Library Speaker: Nicholas Tripcevich, Lab Manager, Archaeological Research Facility Sponsor: Berkeley Institute for Data Science BIDS Tea is hosted on Mondays from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. At each event, an invited person or group will spend 5–10 minutes discussing a data science project or problem followed by time for discussion and networking.At this Tea Social hosted by the Berkeley Institute for Data Science (BIDS), the Lab Manager of the Archaeological Research Facility (ARF) Nico Tripcevich will provide a sample of archaeological studies conducted by Berkeley researchers emphasizing quantitative data, and then he will describe some avenues for potential collaboration between ARF researchers and the data scientists in the future.
