Computational Intelligence and Neuroscience in Smart Vehicles

Call for Papers The ever increasing number of vehicles as well as increasing demands for smart vehicles has attracted a lot of research intentions from engineers, designers, scientists, and specialists. The smart vehicle combines advanced technologies, such as signal processing, communication, monitoring, learning, driver assistance, planning, and decision-making to solve some of the biggest challenges in transportation, including safety, mobility, fuel economy, and environment. This leads to a great desire for the development and utilization of computational intelligent and cognitive computing technologies to address these design challenges. This special issue aims to gather innovative concepts and technological solutions from the broad research community, to present and discuss breakthrough in the lasted developments in computational intelligence and neural science for applications to smart vehicles.
