Commonwealth of Virginia approves School of Neuroscience

Kelly McKay transferred to Virginia Tech looking for a school closer to home. The selling point for her was the first-in-the-nation School of Neuroscience, after she had the chance to meet one-on-one with the school’s head, Harald Sontheimer. It wasn’t until the first day of classes that she realized who she was talking to. “I looked him up before, right before the class, and realized just what a big deal he was.
