Biotech Companies Team up With Berg to Develop Artificial Intelligence For UK Genome Study

The Boston, Mass-based Berg company is a firm that uses artificial intelligence in an attempt to discover new drugs and diagnostic tools. Their efforts are aimed at helping England’s national genomics project to mine DNA and other health data from several thousand British citizens for potential drug targets. Co-founded in 2006 by the Silicon Valley real estate billionaire Carl Berg, the company has been working fervently to develop a way to change how we discover new drugs; they are working in partnership with other key players, including the US Department of Defense as well as the Parkinson’s Institute Clinical Center.
