Benchmarking pioneer OnlyBoth hires chief customer officer

Pittsburgh-based OnlyBoth, a pioneer in artificial intelligence-based automated benchmarking, said on Thursday that technology leader Jim Berardone has joined its management team as chief customer officer, bringing two decades of entrepreneurship to his new appointment.

To help position and market OnlyBoth’s benchmarking engine to organizations looking to improve their customer value propositions, Berardone will lead the company’s early sales growth and customer-acquisition strategy, driving adoption of the company’s engine across software-as-a-service (SaaS) markets.

Prior to signing on with OnlyBoth, Berardone served in leadership and development positions for Seegrid, Fujitsu, Perot Systems and Industry.net, and currently serves on regional advisory boards.

OnlyBoth made the industry’s first benchmarking engine available commercially this summer. The engine relies on proprietary artificial intelligence to uncover and communicate critical business insights.

Founded in 2014 by entrepreneurs Raul Valdes-Perez and Andre Lessa, the company combines machine discovery with natural language generation, making insights easy to read and share in perfect English and overcoming customary benchmarking flaws such as narrow scope, bias, complexity and scale.
