Jamie Butler is a frequent speaker and prominent name in the revolving cybersecurity conference circuit, nationally, headlined by events like the RSA Conference and Black Hat USA. He started early, having joined the National Security Agency (NSA) out of undergrad at James Madison University. While serving at the intelligence agency, he was accepted into a highly competitive program that in turn supported his graduate degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) in computer science. Today, Butler is the newly minted chief technology officer (CTO) at rising cybersecurity firm Endgame, headquartered in Arlington, Va.
