Artificial intelligence start-up Mad Street raises funds from Sequoia and existing investors

Mad Street Den Systems Pvt. Ltd – an artificial intelligence start-up has raised an undisclosed sum in a Series A funding from Sequoia Capital and its present investors including Exfinity Venture Partners LLP and GrowX Venture Management Pvt. Ltd. Founded by a husband-wife duo Anand Chandrasekaran – a neuroscientist and Stanford alumni and Ashwani Asokan – a former Intel Corp. executive, the start-up had earlier raised $1.5 million from Exfinity Ventures and growX in Jan 2015. Established in 2013, the Chennai-based firm has neuroscientists, computer vision experts, data scientists, marketers and designers across India and the US as its employee.
