Are you concerned about the evolution of machines and specifically artificial intelligence?

Samuel Butler, in his work “Darwin among the Machines” asked the question about machine evolution. As we all know, both machine use and artificial intelligence have increased exponentially since the Industrial Revolution. It sounds like something out of a dystopian sci-fi novel, but I.J. Good said in 1965: “An ultraintelligent machine could design even better machines; there would then unquestionably be an ‘intelligence explosion,’ and the intelligence of man would be left far behind.” Bill Gates, Stephen Hawkins, and Elon Musk have all gone on record expressing concerns about the future of artificial intelligence. Are you concerned?
