Apple news, update: Turi joins lineup to enhance Artificial Intelligence

Apple Inc. has taken over a Seattle-based artificial intelligence (AI) start-up, Turi, a machine learning company. The tech giant bought the start-up for around $200 million. The newly acquired startup, founded by University of Washington’s Prof. Carlos Guestrin, specializes in offering graph processing frameworks and tools for other developer companies to integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning into their apps and services, one of which helps developers to manufacture more enhanced fraud detection into their apps.
