At first glance, Anki Overdrive looks like a relatively simple toy set. Taking the small cars and plastic track pieces out of the box, and creating your first course takes just minutes. The experience is a lot like the slot cars and train sets so many of us have assembled on Christmas mornings and birthdays in years past. But any gamer will quickly appreciate that this is a video game come to life, and a big step up from Anki’s original, impressive effort.
