AI hurdles math SAT like with an average high-school student score

An artificial intelligence created by the University of Washington coined as GeoS (which means geometry problem solver), has just correctly answered 49% of a high-school geometry test. This might not be very remarkable, but it is good enough since the result was at par with average performance of human students who already took the exam. Though it’s still miles away from a sci-fi doomsday viewpoint, since computers are tipped to be so impressive with numbers, it is in fact a small but essential feat in the field of artificial intelligence.
