Artificial intelligence (AI) come crowdsourced labor machine learning startup CrowdFlower, Inc. has raised $10 million Series D in a round that included Canvas Ventures, Trinity Ventures, and Microsoft Corp. Founded in 2007, CrowdFlower offers what they describe as the essential human-in-the-loop platform for data science teams. The company’s product focuses on making data useful by helping data teams collect, clean and label their data at scale by combining human-labeled training data, easy to deploy machine learning models, and human-in-the-loop capabilities to help companies create value from their unstructured data. CrowdFlower AI is said to allow customers to easily create machine learning models using human-labeled training data that can be deployed using humans-in-the-loop for when the model’s predictions fall below a customer defined confidence threshold.
