4th Annual Imagine More Dinner to raise funds, awareness for neuroscience research

The Medical College of Wisconsin’s (MCW) Neuroscience Research Center Board will host the 4th annual Imagine More Dinner, Wednesday, June 15, at Discovery World in Milwaukee.MCW’s Neuroscience Research Center is comprised of more than 40 distinguished faculty members involved in studying 30 neurological conditions including traumatic brain injury (TBI), Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, ALS, epilepsy, stroke, movement disorders, dementia and mental health.This year’s event will highlight the advancements of Michael McCrea, PhD, director of brain injury research and professor of neurosurgery and neurology at MCW. Dr. McCrea’s research interest focuses primarily on the acute and chronic effects of traumatic brain injury, specifically in the area of sports impact concussions.
